Remnants of Great Spirit on view at the Village Art Circle from April 29 to May 25

By | 2016 events, News | No Comments

This exclusive collection portrays my latest watercolor works of the Native American Indians in North Carolina. Deeply inspired by the wisdom, spirituality and respect for nature of the Cherokees and the Haliwa-Saponi tribes in NC, I have dedicated many hours of research in the preparation for this series of paintings.

The exhibit will take you to a place where all remnants of the great spirit of the American Indians will truly show a new world to the viewer.

April 29 – May 25, 2016

By | 2016 events, News | No Comments

Happy announcement: My painting titled “ Preparing For The Storm“ has been selected for the 41st Annual Western Federation of Watercolor Societies Exhibition (WFWS41).
Thank you juror, Sterling Edwards who selected 135 paintings from 1063 entries from 517 artists, from the 12 watercolor societies!!! This year’s WFWS41 exhibition will be displayed in the Main Gallery of the Arvada Center in Arvada, Colorado (northwest of Denver). The Colorado Watercolor Society (CWS) is proud to co-host with the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities to present the WFWS41 Exhibition at the Arvada Center, June 9 through August 28, 2016. Drawing from over 5,500 members representing 12 watercolor societies, this exhibition will showcase some of the finest watercolor artists in the southwest United States.

“Preparing for the Storm”, 22×30″, watercolor. What a coincidence, as here in Wake county we are preparing for the storm.
