Working from reference photos, Lyudmila will demonstrate how to simplify a scene, establish a strong composition and value structure, and use expressive brushwork and color to capture light, atmosphere and a sense of place. Learn how to approach boats and water without getting caught up in unnecessary detail, while creating paintings that feel fresh, lively and convincing.
